Golf Day 2006 |
Llantwit Fardre Cricket Club held it's annual golf day at the splendid course at Pontypridd Golf Club where over 20 teams competed for a galaxy of prizes, some of which were donated by
Toyota, Leekes out of town store, Lifestyle Financial Services and Chris Lloyd of InterBev UK brewery.
The format was a fourball modified stapleford tournament with prizes for the first six teams,nearest the pin on the four par three holes and for twos scored on any hole. In addition there was a raffle with excellent prizes.
The winners of the overall tournament were the OLD GENTS team led by Llantwit veteran Derek Jones and including his son Alan, Bryan Job and Tony
Real. They won a prize worth £200 consisting of Leeke's vouchers and cash.

Third prize worth £60 - G Division Police A
Fourth Prize (4 packs golf balls) - Water Carriers
Fifth Prize £20 vouchers - Griffs Grafters
Sixth Prize (24 golf balls) - Neath Police B
